  My daughter has attended discovery center for 2 1/2 years, and I am consistently AMAZED and THANKFUL for the work they do here. What originally sold me on this school were three things I'm passionate about 1) their playground is unparalleled. "Playground" isn't a fair descriptive- it's more like a children's paradise. 2) they let them get messy! Playing in the dirt, painting, getting wet - it's a harder way to operate (and clean up) than sticking them in front of a tv, but it allows the kids to be kids! 3) they don't pull them away from a project they're engulfed in. There's nothing worse than, when a young child is working on a masterpiece, or a puzzle, or whatever it might be, to say "ok time to put it away, it's not coloring time anymore." And they don't do that - they let them work and get mesmerized and continue. It's heart warming. The reason I'm writing this review today, after 2 1/2 years of constant amazement at this center, is because my daughter got into the car today and I said "what did you do at school today?" She said "there was a candle with a fire and we put a jar on it and the fire went out! BECAUSE IT COULDNT BREATHE!!" And then she started singing "and you stop! and you drop! And you ROLL ON THE GROUND!" My heart. They focus on teaching, and they make it fun. This is one of the many incidents I have been overwhelmed with gratitude by what this school does, and more impressive than everything else are the teachers. They love my child, and the other children, and there's no better feeling for a mom than knowing that.
